PARK STEWARDSHIP IN 2025
Earth Day
April 19th
9am - 12noon
REGISTRATION (Required) OPENS MARCH 15th!
Pitch in to help us take care of the park at our long-running spring stewardship event to celebrate Earth Day (18 years). We typically focus on removing non-native invasive plants and sometimes doing work on trails. Families, scouts, and school groups are always welcome. The Ranger needs our help with this kind of work, and many hands can accomplish a lot!
National Public Lands Day
Saturday, September 27th
Our fall stewardship event scheduled “on or around” National Public Lands Day in late September has always been a fun fall community effort. We’ve assisted the Park Ranger with focused weeding, the removal of invasive blackberries, holly, and laurel in recent years. This year we’re targeting English Ivy.
Bring your scouts, work teams, running and riding friends!
