Our work is not done, Bridle Trails State Park continues to need your help

Do you:

  • Run in Bridle Trails in the early morning fog?
  • Take the dog for an afternoon stroll through the tall evergreens as the sun comes streaming through?
  • Gallop down the quarter mile with the wind in your face and a thrill in your heart?
  • Watch your child as they trot around the horse show ring with an inner confidence and a ear-splitting grin?
  • Appreciate the less tangible benefits of Bridle Trails State Park, like the fact that it is a great sound barrier, air cleaner, wildlife habitat, and a place to pick mushrooms and blackberries?

Whatever your reason, we think you'll agree that Bridle Trails State Park is a one-of-a-kind gem, that must never be closed.

Over the last four years we have made a terrific start to ensuring that Bridle Trails State Park remains open, but so much more is needed. Annual Giving Letter>> Please give generously today! Annual Giving Donation Form>>

The Bridle Trails Park Foundation has a financial agreement to pay up to 50% of the operating costs of the park for the next 40 years. Bridle Trails has been removed from the closure list, but parks are still being closed, and failure on our part to meet our commitment could put us back in jeopardy.

There are also costs associated with running the Foundation, but the Foundation is an all volunteer group of dedicated people who work all year to operate the Foundation and make progress toward our goal to secure the future of the park.

You can help by giving generously. Please make a cash donation or donate appreciated stocks for a tax advantage. Many companies have matching funds programs as well. List of companies >>
